Twisted Color Challenge - Week One

With the new year comes a new color challenge! This one, however, is created and run by Sookie Triellis and is called the Twisted Color Challenge. Read about it on her blog here. Basically, there are colors each week, but this time there are two, and you create a look that blends both colors. I love the idea, I'm so excited to do it (and stick to it)!! This week's theme is "tuxedo", featuring sort of a champagne and dark gray mix.

One of the events that I absolutely love, but honestly overlook when blogging, is Fi*Fridays. It's almost like FLF, but it's 55L per item and everything is located in one location. It's honestly one of my favorite events to do every week. There are so many designers that I've never heard of, but have seriously well made things. If you are looking to branch out, I highly suggest it!

Gorgeous new things to show you today! I love this new sweater dress from Geometry. And this new hair from Truth is SO cute! It comes in a ponytail version as well. I just love the two curls at the top, they remind me of Maleficent, the evil queen from Sleeping Beauty.

This week brings more awesome events and new releases! The Frost Fair has started and has tons of awesome designers that bring great new stuffs for us, and some things are 50% off! Also, if you haven't heard already, a fundraiser is being held for our Dear Sway Dench, who is having brain surgery. Together for Sway (TFS) has a bunch of great items that are at 100% donation and I really encourage you to check it out. Also, Dilly Dolls released these super cute ice skates this week! I love them and even though I'm not skating, I have been wearing them around SL! :P

Today's inspire me theme is melancholy. It's the perfect theme to show off Diesel Work's new pose prop...this bird cage! I just love it, it's so creative and makes for really cool pictures. It comes in two versions, dark colored and a lighter colored one. I am also showing you this awesome new trench coat from NiNight Creations. I love it, and it's really well textured! :D
